Privacy policy

Last updated: April 25, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Seoptimizes LLC (“Seoptimizes”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes information in connection with this website (https://www.seoptimizes.org) and related communications when you inquire about our services. It is intended to meet our transparency obligations, including for residents of California and other U.S. states where applicable.

1. Who we are

The data controller for personal information described in this policy is Seoptimizes LLC, a California limited liability company, operating publicly as Seoptimizes. You may contact us about privacy matters at hello@seoptimizes.org or by postal mail to the business or registered agent address we provide upon request for legal or regulatory correspondence. We operate as a fully remote company; routine privacy requests are handled electronically.

2. Scope of this policy

This policy applies to information we process through our public website, marketing pages, email exchanges initiated through our contact channels, and similar online interactions. If you become a client, additional terms in a statement of work, master services agreement, or other contract may govern confidentiality, security, and data processing for your project; where those agreements conflict with this policy on a specific point, the agreement controls for that engagement.

3. Categories of information we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect the following categories of information:

  • Identifiers and contact data: name, email address, company name, job title (if provided), phone number (if provided), and similar contact details you submit in forms or email.
  • Commercial information: high-level details about your project needs, budget ranges, timelines, or service interests that you choose to share when requesting information or a proposal.
  • Internet or network activity: IP address, device type, browser type and version, operating system, general geographic region derived from IP (such as city or state where available), referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps when you use our site.
  • Inferences: preferences or interests suggested by how you browse our site or which resources you request, where we use that information only at an aggregated or non-identifying level unless you identify yourself.
  • Sensitive personal information: we do not intentionally collect sensitive categories (such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, health data, or biometric data) through this website. If you voluntarily include such information in a free-text message, we will use it only to respond to your inquiry and will not use it for unrelated purposes.

4. How we collect information

  • Directly from you when you fill out forms, email us, subscribe to updates, or communicate with our team.
  • Automatically through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies when you load pages or interact with embedded content.
  • From third parties in limited cases, such as analytics or hosting providers that supply technical logs, or professional networks if you interact with our brand through those platforms and we receive a referral message.

5. Purposes for which we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Operate, secure, debug, and improve our website and infrastructure;
  • Respond to inquiries, schedule discussions, prepare proposals, and onboard clients;
  • Send administrative messages, policy updates, and (where permitted) marketing about our services, including from addresses at hello@seoptimizes.org;
  • Analyze aggregate or de-identified usage trends to understand which content is useful and to plan product and marketing improvements;
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, or violations of our terms;
  • Comply with law, regulation, lawful requests from public authorities, and enforce our agreements; and
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims where necessary to protect Seoptimizes LLC, our clients, or the public.

6. Legal bases (summary)

For U.S. visitors, we rely on purposes compatible with applicable state law, such as performing a contract or pre-contract steps at your request, pursuing our legitimate interests in operating a professional services business (balanced against your rights), complying with legal obligations, and, where required, obtaining your consent for specific uses such as certain marketing cookies or messages.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

We and our vendors may use cookies, local storage, scripts, and pixels to remember preferences, maintain security, measure performance, and understand how visitors use https://www.seoptimizes.org. You can control many cookies through your browser settings (blocking or deleting cookies may limit site functionality). If we deploy non-essential cookies that require consent under applicable law in your region, we will provide a consent mechanism before those cookies load.

8. Disclosure of information

We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients where appropriate for the purposes above:

  • Service providers and processors who host our site, deliver email, provide analytics, customer-relationship tools, security monitoring, or similar functions, subject to contractual confidentiality and data-protection terms;
  • Professional advisers such as attorneys, accountants, or insurers, where necessary and under professional obligations of confidentiality;
  • Authorities and others when required by law, subpoena, or similar process, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or property;
  • Business transfers in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case we will require the successor to honor this policy or notify you of material changes.

We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising as a “sale” or “sharing” under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) definitions in the ordinary operation of this site. If that changes, we will update this policy and provide any legally required notice or choice mechanism.

9. Retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, accounting, and reporting requirements. Retention periods vary: for example, marketing correspondence may be kept for several years unless you ask us to delete it sooner and we have no overriding obligation to retain it; server logs may be retained for a shorter technical window. When retention ends, we delete or de-identify information where feasible.

10. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against accidental loss, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure; you provide information at your own risk, and you should use secure channels when sending confidential material.

11. Children’s privacy

Our website and services are not directed to children under 16 (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, contact us at hello@seoptimizes.org and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12. International visitors

We are based in the United States. If you access our site from outside the U.S., you understand that your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. Where cross-border transfer rules apply, we will comply with applicable requirements.

13. Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, may provide you with specific rights regarding your personal information, including:

  • The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and retain;
  • The right to request deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions;
  • The right to correct inaccurate personal information, taking into account the nature of the information and the purposes of processing;
  • The right to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (we do not sell or share as described in Section 8 in the ordinary operation of this site);
  • The right to limit use of certain sensitive personal information, where applicable;
  • The right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights.

To submit a request, email hello@seoptimizes.org with the subject line “California Privacy Request” and describe your request in enough detail for us to evaluate and respond. We will verify your identity before fulfilling requests, which may require confirming information you have previously provided to us. You may designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf where permitted by law; we may require proof of the agent’s authority.

Under California Civil Code § 1798.83, California residents may request certain information regarding disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Because we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes in the traditional sense described by that statute, no such list is maintained; you may still contact us with questions.

14. Other U.S. state privacy rights

Several other U.S. states have enacted consumer privacy laws. If you reside in a state that grants you rights similar to those described above and you wish to exercise them, contact us at hello@seoptimizes.org. We will respond in line with applicable law after verifying your request.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, provide a more prominent notice on our website or by email. Your continued use of the site after the effective date of changes constitutes your acknowledgment of the updated policy, except where your consent is required for a new processing activity.

16. Contact us

Questions or complaints about this Privacy Policy or Seoptimizes LLC's data practices may be directed to hello@seoptimizes.org. We will work with you in good faith to address concerns.
